Our laboratory is physically located within an ace of Mohali Greens (famous Mohali cricket stadium) in the vicinity of city beautiful Chandigarh

We use budding yeast, rat and computers to investigate fundamental questions in biology. Our current research interest is to understand the striking link between oxidative stress, aging and related diseases.

We recently discovered that calorie restriction leads to a condition of mild stress which in turn enhances vitality in yeast cells. We believe this change represents Hormesis. Thus we are taking number of approaches to understand the mechanism underlying this phenomenon.

For us DNA means Do Nothing Average
&
We believe in future drugs will be designed not discovered
